Gloria Klaiman

Gloria Klaiman’s first book, Night and Day, The Double Lives of Artists in America is a book of essays based on a series of interviews with several American artists in multiple disciplines about how they balanced the creation of art with the need to earn a living. It was published in 2001. Since that time, Gloria has focused her energies on fiction writing, most recently on the novel A Burst of Ginger on the Tongue.

But normal chronologies no longer interested her anyway. She once had the notion that her life would move forward on a continuum toward a fixed point in the future.
