Chelsea Cambeis

After earning her B.A. in English from Fairmont State University, Chelsea Cambeis spent four rewarding, hardworking years as a rural mail carrier in West Virginia. Recently, she decided to take a leap and is now interning remotely for Oghma Creative Media and BHC Press, as well as spending valued time on her own writing. Chelsea's work will be featured in Five Minutes at Hotel Stormcove, an upcoming anthology by Atthis Arts.

A Bright Spot

Somewhere along the way, I lost all sense of direction. Life’s become this mundane, necessary task, and I’m growing tired. My brain is fuzzy; I lack enthusiasm. Most would say I’m depressed, but it feels more like I’m running out of steam.

So here I stand, sneakers melting to the cracked sidewalk.
