Alex Pickens

Alex Pickens graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in economics. He grew up in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia and has been writing all his life, only recently looking at publishing. His work has been published in Tuck Magazine and Gardy Loo and in the forthcoming issue of Jersey Devil Press, while his comedy Black Friday was an honorable mention at the national Screenplay Festival during the 2017/2018 award year. He is currently working on a novel and another screenplay. His greatest aspiration is to make the world laugh at him and his friends assure him this will happen one day.
