James Brewer

Born and raised in Oregon, James Brewer now shelters in place in West Hartford, Connecticut. His writing has appeared in “little” magazines (e.g., Rosebud, Aethlon, Jeopardy) and city newspapers (e.g., The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Hartford Courant). As a writer, he is especially interested in narrative strategies fiction writers use to suggest empathy for characters struggling with unique “inner” perceptions of the world and society that are not logically congruent with their lived “outer” experiences.
