Hasan Abdulla

Born in Kenya in 1953, I have long had an interest in English Literature. During my adolescence I took part in a School Drama based on Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice' in which I played the part of a sentry. I began creative writing as a songwriter during the 1970's, and when I gained an A Level in English at College in Reading UK, I began writing poetry and then short stories.
