Buffy Aakaash grew up in the wild hills of New Jersey north and west of New York City. He has lived both in rural and urban environments in many places throughout the US since then. In addition to poetry, he writes plays and essays. His work has been published in Main Street Rag, Avocet, Georgetown Review, Oberon, Tributaries, and others. Currently, he lives at 7300 feet in the Zuni Mountains of New Mexico, where he works locally as a healer, and nationally as a social media manager.
