Phil Holzinger

Phil Holzinger was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College and has a master’s degree in geology from the University of Delaware. He has worked as a geologist for a number of years. He has written three books, The Earth and How it Works (Prentice-Hall, 1986), The House of Science (John Wiley & Sons, 1990), and 50 Ways to Save Lancaster County(self published, 1997). He has been interested in environmental issues all his life. These essays are from a book he is currently writing to be titled "Eco-dude and other Environmental Adventures".
